A familiar game.
A wilder world.

Standard chess, brought to life by royal creatures and wolf sentinels. You command the jade kingdom; your opponent wears amber.

Choose Royal Wilds cinematic 3D, Woodland 3D, or Royal Waterfall illustrated mode with the board setting menu. All views share your match. Royal Wilds adds a waterfall, marble reflections in High graphics, and creek ambience. Use Match & army for game controls and ANGLE to change the camera. In Royal Waterfall, the camera button flips the board.

Tap a creature to see its legal moves. Tap a glowing square to move. Drag the board to explore, or scroll to zoom.

Castling, en passant, promotion, checkmate, stalemate, repetition, and the fifty-move draw are supported. Captured creatures dissolve into fireflies.

The sound button controls animal calls and footsteps. Use Eco graphics for lighter foliage and fewer effects. Reduced-motion preferences pause forest movement and make chess moves immediate.

Play against the Guardian or share a device with a buddy. Your match saves in this browser. Online multiplayer is not available.
