Book CricketRules, tips & a good first game.

The classroom page-flipping game becomes a full innings. Choose teams and a playing XI, open the book, and chase a target one ball at a time.

YOUR CONTROLS

Click Open the book or press Space during your turn. Choose the sound and 3D motion settings in the game header.

Set up your innings

Choose the computer or a friend, then pick the teams and match length. With a friend, use the same device or an online room. Match length can be set from 1 to 50 overs. Each innings has 11 players and up to 10 wickets, with six balls per over.

Read the page result

This version uses 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 as its book outcomes. Zero is a wicket, 2/4/6 add that many runs, and 8 adds one run. The displayed run rate, current over, and scorecard help you follow the innings rather than treating each flip as an isolated result.

Chase the total

If the first side finishes on 24, the other side needs 25 to win. Watch both the runs needed and the balls or wickets remaining. The book determines the outcome of each ball; selecting a different player name does not guarantee better page results.

Play with a friend

Create an online room and share its invite. Wait for the other player before starting. Keep your browser open during an online innings. The setup screen offers saved-match controls, so use those before starting over if you return after a break.

Teams and presentation

The roster packs are dated tournament snapshots, not live team news. You can inspect roster sources in the game and edit your XI. Turn 3D motion off if the page animation is uncomfortable or your device struggles to render it smoothly.

A couple of good questions

Does 8 mean eight runs?

No. In HeyloBuddy Book Cricket, 8 is one run.

Can I choose a shorter match?

Yes. Set custom overs to 1 for a quick innings, or use one of the preset lengths.
