THE HEYLOBUDDY PLAYBOOK
City Circuit RacingRules, tips & a good first game.
A neon circuit racer built around cornering, drifting, and controlled boosts. Complete checkpoints in order and finish three laps before your rivals.
YOUR CONTROLS
W/Up accelerates, S/Down brakes or reverses, and A/D or Left/Right steer. Space drifts, Shift boosts, C changes camera, and R resets the car. Touch controls provide the same main actions.
Finish the circuit
Complete three laps in the correct checkpoint order. The fastest finisher wins. Races close after three minutes; unfinished racers are ranked by progress. Cutting across the scenery does not replace driving through the required checkpoints.
Set up a drift
Brake while turning or hold Space to break traction. Release to regain grip as the road straightens. Actual sideways slides earn drift points and recharge nitro. Collect the glowing diamonds for another source of boost charge.
Recover a bad corner
If you spin or become stuck, press R or the Reset car button to face the road again. Change to the overhead camera if it helps you understand the track. On a phone, landscape orientation provides more room for steering and pedal controls.
Race friends
Create a room and share the six-character code. Wait for the group in the lobby before starting. Online races require a steady connection; solo practice is a useful way to learn the track before adding network competition.
Police pursuit
The separate solo pursuit challenge adds two cruisers. Being near a cruiser while traveling below 25 km/h for three seconds results in a bust. Watch the minimap and keep moving through corners rather than stopping beside a pursuing car.
A couple of good questions
Why did my shortcut not count?
Laps require the checkpoints in order. Return to the route if you missed one.
Are the police in every online race?
No. Police pursuit is a separate solo challenge.
